Fernkloof Nature Reserve lies 3 kilometres east of the town centre of Hermanus.
No charge - donations into safe at the Visitors’ Centre welcome.

Available at the Visitors’ Centre and the Fernkloof Nursery.
Cars can be parked in the Garden area and at the Visitors’ Centre 500m further on at the end of the tarred road.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at ALL times and are only permitted on the lower paths, BLUE and YELLOW.
Dog droppings must be removed.
NO restaurant or café facilities.
Fernkloof Rangers are on duty from 08h00 to 16h00 Monday to Sunday.
A Ranger will also accompany you on your walk in the Reserve, at no charge to yourself, should you wish him or her to do so.
Regulations and Safety
Keep to the official paths and do not take shortcuts. These cause erosion.
Do not pick any plant material, interfere with animals, leave litter or light fires.
Take precautions for personal safety. Leave valuables at home and preferably walk with a companion.
Wear sensible footwear, sun protection and carry water, some food and rain gear.
A whistle and cell phone might be useful.
