The 2017 Hermanus Flower Festival was held over 4 days in September, with over 3000 people attending.

The Hall was decked out in massed displays of fynbos, over 400 labelled specimens from the Overberg were on show, the marquee was a hit with people looking for things to buy, alpacas were in attendance, the informative snake demos had childen and adults enthralled, and frogs and their calls were accessed via touch screens in the Whale Coast Conservation stand. The amphitheatre was filled with 10 wonderful landscaped mini-gardens, giving people ideas on what to plant. The Fynbos Cafe fed record numbers - and the sun shone!

A great success!  All profit made by the Hermanus Botanical Society will be used for maintenance in the Reserve, ongoing educational programmes and alien clearing projects.

Watch this space for the 2018 Festival dates!
