Spreading shrublet up to 30cm with stems up to 40cm. Leaves 3-foliolate on longish leaf-stalks, folded along their length with silver margins; stipules with cordate bases. Clusters of bright yellow flowers change to brick-red after pollination; hairy anthers. Pods constricted between seeds.
