Hermanus Botanical Society Celebration of Fynbos 2024

The weather was superb over the Heritage Day weekend in September.

A big shout-out and thank you to all the various members, friends, families and sponsors who contributed to making this such a convivial and successful event.

It cannot go without saying that there was an enormous amount of time and effort by our members that went into the planning, preparing, setting up and facilitation of the day-to-day manning of the exhibition and supporting side activities.

The highlight is always the display of fresh plant specimens, this year there were over 350 on display, including flowering bulbs, ericas, proteas, grasses and restios.

The funds raised will be channelled toward developing the Fernkloof Gardens.
