Description

Plants 20-30cm high. Corm globose with coarsely fibrous tunics. Flowering stem bearing only sheathing leaves. Leaf produced after flowering on separate shoot, solitary, cylindrical and with 4 grooves, thinly hairy, about 1mm in diameter. Flowers pale blue to mauve with yellow markings on lower tepals, in 3-5 flowered spike. Perianth tube 15-17mm long, dorsal tepal largest, hooded over stamens.
