Description

Cormous geophyte up to 45cm. Leaves 2, basal, linear, channelled, as long or longer than the stem, often bent and trailing; stems several to many-branched, viscous (sticky) below the nodes. Flowers white, sometimes flushed with purple, with yellow nectar guides on outer sepals, sweetly scented; anthers 4-5mm long, pointed, pollen red.

Latin: viscum = sticky; referring to the the viscous stems below the nodes.
