Description

Decumbent to prostrate perennial, stems up to 60cm. Leaves narrowly-elliptical, often oriented along the upper side of the stem; bears sessile (stalkless), 2-lipped, bright yellow flowers clustered in spikes at branch tips.

Latin: luteus = deep yellow, golden-yellow: referring to the bright yellow colour of the flowers.

Damp flats and lower slopes
