Description

Stiffly branched, thorny shrub or small tree up to 2m. Leaves greyish, in tufts on short shoots, leathery, linear-oblong; tubular purple flowers 12-20mm long with petals about a quarter as long as the tube; stamens inserted half way up tube and enclosed within it.

Berries black, 8-13mm in diameter.

Habitat

Mostly dry stony slopes and flats
