Description

Erect slender plant up to 30cm. Leaves up the stem, linear-lanceolate. Inflorescence cylindrical, in a dense spike, flowers small and green with the sepals usually tinted maroon. Spur pendent and 3-4.5mm long. Lip pendent. Both pollen masses attached to a single gland. This species readily sets seed.

Habitat

Widespread and common in a variety of habitats - especially in areas of mild disturbance.
