Description

Plants slender to stout up to 60cm tall. Leaves two - pressed flat to the ground - very broad - margins narrowly hyaline. Inflorescence lax - from 3-30 in a spike. Flowers white to ivory with sometimes faint pink and green tinges with a sweet - slightly pungent scent. Bracts partly to fully deflexed. Spurs 15-20mm long. candidus = pure white and shining and refers to the white colour of the flowers.
