Description

Rigid, densely-leafy, glabrescent (hairless), or thinly grey- woolly shrub up to 1m. Leaves needle-like with margins rolled in towards upper surface (involute), usually twisted and recurved, pungent; flowerheads discoid, crowded in terminal heads, florets conspicuous, white; bracts brown.
