Description

Cormous geophyte up to 40cm high. Stem unbranched, the nodes sticky. Leaf single, terete (circular in cross section) and rigid. Flowers palish-yellow to brownish, sometimes flushed with mauve, enclosed in leathery, truncate spathes; tepals unequal, outer 30-50mm long, laxly spreading, inner tepals often erect.
