Description

A cormous geophyte up to 1m tall. Leaves slender, cross-shaped in section. The flowers become strongly fragrant in the evenings and are pale yellow to green, sometimes with dark stripes on the three upper lobes. This species grows in marshy areas and on stream banks.

Habitat

Usually marshy sites on sandstone, clay or limestone soils
