Description

Cormous geophyte up to 40cm.  Leaves linear, 2mm wide with short blades, leathery without visible veins. Flowers reddish- orange with a yellow throat, in 1-4 flowered flexuous spike.

After: Richard C. Prior (1809-1902), British medical practitioner and amateur botanist who collected actively in the Eastern Cape and Karoo areas between 1846 and 1848.
