Description

Sturdy erect shrub up to 1.5m. Leaves are rigid and incurved. Flowers tubular, purple to pink with a white mouth.

Endemic to the Klein River Mountains.

After: Peter MacOwan (1830-1909), one of the first botany professors in Cape Town, Director of Cape Town botanical gardens.
