Description

Sprawling shrublet up to 45cm (Kleinrivier Mts). Leaves are crowded, hairless, in 4's; flowers are tubular, medium to large, with spreading lobes which are sharply pointed and pink in the Hermanus area.

Common name Four Sisters Heath, refers to the distinctive arrangement of four flowers at end of each flowering branch.

Latin: fastigiatus = clustered, rising to a point.

Habitat

Moist slopes, near to streams, middle altitudes
