Description

Insectivorous, sprawling perennial to 35cm, very deep-rooted, with unbranched leafy stem. Leaves oblanceolate, up to 7cm long, densely rusty-hairy beneath, stipules fringed, reduced; flowers magenta or purple, only open in sunlight, flower stem erect from base; stigmas simple or weakly divided.

Habitat

Damp sandstone, sheltered mountain slopes
