Description

Sprawling to prostrate, short-lived perennial up to 40cm, with a woody base. Leaves greyish in colour, leathery-fleshy, twice-divided into narrow, toothed leaflets that often curl inwards. Bears compound flower clusters of small cream-coloured flowers, bracts turgid. Fruits are broadly oval-shaped with thicks ribs.

Greek: dasos = shaggy, spermum = seed; referring to the shaggy seeds of this genus
